Dedicated in the memory of Lowrie Ewan Smith

On 28th June at 12.23pm our darling peerie Lowrie Ewan Smith was born so peacefully into this world. Weighing 7lb 4oz and measuring 52cm. He is utterly perfect in every single way and looks just like his big brother, Joey💙 He was just too precious to stay with us in body but he will never, ever leave our hearts.

We are absolutely broken and a part of our hearts have been lost with him. Our lives will always be missing our very special peerie boy.
He will forever be so loved by his Mammy, Daddy, big brother Joey and the rest of our families.

We wanted to set up this fundraising page to raise funds in Lowrie's name for Sands because they have been a huge support to us from the very beginning. From the hospital facilities we stayed in to the memory box we received and the continuous support moving forward. We can't express how valuable this charity is to us just now and I know it will continue to be so in the coming weeks, months and years.

In fundraising we also want to raise awareness of the importance of seeking medical help surrounding reduced movements. Our peerie Lowrie was such an active boy until Monday 21st of June. His movements seemed to reduce significantly and over that week I attended maternity to have him checked over 3 times. His heartbeat was fine but I still had this gut feeling he wasn't himself. He was still barely moving and on Saturday 26th June, my fourth visit wir peerie Lowrie's precious peerie heart had stopped and our hearts were instantly shattered.

Please, please, please trust your mother instinct and your body. If you feel something isn't quite right make sure you get seen and checked as soon as possible. Hopefully, I genuinely hope and pray, your instinct is proven wrong and your precious baby is totally safe and fine but please just go get checked.
